Axis specialists · South Wales & South West

Commercial CCTV cameras that do more than record.

We design Axis systems that spot fires before they start, detect intruders by radar and stream live views to the public. Installed, networked and supported by the same team that runs your IT.

Thermal detection · Derwen Group

See the fire before the smoke.

Lithium-ion batteries hidden in waste can catch fire hours later. Thermal cameras watch the pile and alert PC1 the moment a spot passes the threshold, day or night. Drag across the picture.

Radar detection

Radar sees what cameras miss.

Rain, fog, glare and darkness don’t fool radar. It tracks people and vehicles across a wide field and tells the cameras where to look.

CCTV questions

What people ask before switching.

Why Axis?
Axis cameras are built for long service life, get regular firmware security updates and support analytics such as thermal and radar detection. As an Axis partner we design, install and support the full range.
Can CCTV detect fires?
Yes. Thermal cameras raise an alert when temperatures pass a threshold, before smoke or flames appear. We installed this for Derwen Group to detect lithium-ion battery fires and for IAAPS to see methanol flames that are invisible to the eye.
Will cameras slow down our network?
No. We design camera networks with the right switching, VLANs and bandwidth so recording does not affect the rest of your systems.
Do you monitor alerts out of hours?
Yes. At Derwen Group, for example, PC1 handles two-tier thermal alerts outside working hours.
