Microsoft 365 Copilot · Microsoft Silver Partner
Microsoft 365 Copilot for business, set up safely.
Copilot puts AI inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, working on your own documents, email and meetings. We supply the licences, tidy up who can see what first, and train your team to use it.
What it is
What is Microsoft Copilot?
Microsoft Copilot is Microsoft’s AI assistant. In a business there are two main versions. Copilot Chat comes with Microsoft 365 work accounts at no extra cost: it answers questions and drafts text using the web, with your company sign-in protecting what you type. Microsoft 365 Copilot is a paid licence that also works on your organisation’s own files, email, chats and meetings, inside the apps your team already uses.
| Copilot Chat | Microsoft 365 Copilot | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Included with Microsoft 365 work accounts | A paid licence per user |
| Works with | The web, and files you upload | Your email, files, chats and meetings in Microsoft 365 |
| Inside the apps | As a chat | Inside Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams |
| Best for | Trying AI safely at work | Teams who want AI on their own work |
What it does
What does Copilot do?
- Outlook: summarises long email threads and drafts replies.
- Teams: recaps meetings, lists actions and answers “what did I miss?”
- Word: drafts documents from notes or existing files, and rewrites or shortens text.
- Excel: explains data, suggests formulas and highlights trends.
- PowerPoint: turns a document into a first-draft presentation.

Before you switch it on
Copilot can see everything your staff can see.
Microsoft 365 Copilot only shows people information they already have access to. The risk is that many businesses have shared folders, old SharePoint sites and Teams that are open to far more people than they should be. Copilot makes that information easy to find.
So we check permissions and sharing before rollout, tighten what is too open, and make sure sign-in and MFA are set up properly, using the same controls we apply for Cyber Essentials.
