From wedding venue to Gower Retreats
Oldwalls on the Gower was best known as a wedding venue. As it became a retreat with cottages, rooms, glamping, an outdoor spa and a tapas bar, we rebranded it as Gower Retreats, built the new website and look after its IT on site.

The challenge
A new name for a new kind of place.
For years Oldwalls was known as a wedding venue. The owners were turning it into a place to stay and unwind, with cottages, apartments, rooms, a glamping village, an outdoor spa and a Spanish tapas bar, and the old name and website no longer fitted.
They wanted a brand with a heart in it, and a website where guests could book a room, a spa session or a table without hunting for three different systems.
What we did
What we put in place.
A considered heart
The client asked for a heart. Ours frames the Gower itself, with Three Cliffs and a river winding out to sea, in amber beside a classic serif wordmark. It comes in standard, tagline, reversed and mono versions.
A new website
A WordPress site with a full-screen hero video, galleries for every room type, news and offers, and a newsletter sign-up.
One booking button
“What would you like to book?” opens a slide-in panel for accommodation, the spa or the restaurant.
Connected booking portals
An availability search for the cottages, rooms and pods, Appointy for spa sessions, and Lightspeed for table reservations and gift vouchers.
IT on site
PC1 also looks after the venue’s IT and Wi-Fi.

The accommodation, the Rustic Spa and Olive Wine Bar & Tapas now sit under one name and one look.

Guests choose what to book and land in the right system.
Still growing
A work in progress: the spa is the latest section to go live, and the site is nearing completion.

News, offers and gift vouchers change with the seasons, without a rebuild.
